There's a song the boys and I sing when we do chores, its a nursery song I think. It goes like this: "the more we work together, together, together, the more we work together the happier we'll be"...we've changed it (not sure if that's what it really says) and we've also used "the faster it will go" recently. This is true for any chore, and anybody. The dishes sure went faster this time around with Jared's help...I think we'll make this a habit. :)

That is so cute! I was thinking on the way home last night, 'gee, Jared is really pulling his weight in the kitchen'. It was cute to watch you guys work together! You are so fun! Thanks again for the fabulous evening!

And oh, if only more guys understood the power and attraction of a man in the kitchen, right? ;) Me 'n' you, we're lucky ladies to have such helpful hubbies, I know at least a few women who do not enjoy that great blessing.
So I'm thinking about making an apron for Aaron that says, "Caution, Extremely Hot" or "Hot Stuff Delivered" lol. I was going to do it for Christmas but just couldn't seem to find the time. Got the apron and the decals though, so just gotta get on it.
Who took these photos by the way? Owen or Tanner standing on the counter, or your incredibly helpful shelving? :)
Thanks Ladies! Yeah, poor Jared just wanted to get the dishes done and I made him stop for a couple pics, he's pretty patient with me.
Oh Stephani you know me well. Yes, I did use the shelving and put the camera on timer. Kinda silly but it works. :) Jared's mom made this apron for Jared out of a towel, how smart is that...and so fast! How cool that you are making one for Aaron! Haha, thats an awesome idea, he'll love it. Can't wait to see pics when you're done. :) You are very creative. We really are lucky to have husbands that are so good to us. :)

Hey, I think I'll start singing that song to my kids. And, Jared is awesome! You give him some fiestiness and he just loves you for it. And that picture DOES look like it would be in the Ensign. I'm totally going to make my kids clean and help better than I did. Children slaves!!! Just kidding. I LOVE your helping hands chart, I think I'm gonna steal that one from you too. And it looks so fun I might do some chorse so I can put my own hands up there.
