When I look out the window and see this, its hard not to get depressed. So, instead of letting it get us down, we tried having the "glass half full" attitude! We went outside and played in the snow as if it were our last snow day. We made a snowman, well I did (the boys just wanted to "smash it"), and they did just that after this picture...
Boys, what can ya say. We really had a lot of fun chasing each other around. The boys got me good with snow when I went to make a snow angel. It was cold! Good thing there is warm winter gear. Oh and the slide is so fun when it snows, they really zoom down it!
No matter what you say might be in it, they always love to eat the snow.
It was worth it to make the best of the snow. But we're sure all looking forward to Spring!

Haha, poor little snowman. :)
My kids eat the snow too, no matter what I say. I just have to roll my eyes and try not to imagine what really is in it.
Hi Melissa, it has been too long since i got on your blog! Your boys look soooo cute out in the snow, i miss them soooo much and you of course!! Grant is getting soooo big, i cannot believe he is eight months old!! He is going to be walking next time I see him huh! What a cute mini-snowman! That is adorable!! If you get sick of the snow, you can always come visit us in sunny AZ!!!
Wow, snow looks so foreign to me now. I missed it around Christmas but am glad that I wasn't in Spokane for the never ending winter. You're such a good mom for taking your boys outside for some fun. You're an example to me to just get out their and do what my kids are doing attitude. I was impressed when you and I went to the park on afternoon (the one right by your house) and the boys were playing and you just got up and started playing yourself like you were a kid when all I wanted to do was just sit there. I was so impressed by your "young at heart" action I always think I should do that with my kids whenever we do stuff and just make it fun for them. You'd never know that that's what I took from one of our hang outs together but I did and it motivates me. Thanks! You're awesome!!!!!!
Missa,
You know, we all need to live like it's the "Never Ending Story", don't know if you have seen the movie or not..but it basically is about having your dreams and letting them happen and also letting everyones dreams around you happen too and jumping in...seeing where they go.
When you are a child, childess dreams happen and then when you are a grownup, the childess things shine through in the way that your mind "LET'S" them....You realize that your "NEVER" too old, your living in the moment!! Each moment that we live, is our "Never Ending Story". We learn to take each day as it comes and "LIVE" it!
Love ya, U.P.
